South Carolina Book Festival

Just a reminder, I'm off today, hitting the road and heading for the Carolinas.

If you happen to be near Columbia, SC, I'll be speaking at the SC Book Festival February 27-28. You can find me on:

Saturday: 2:00 - 2:50
The YA panel with fellow authors Gigi Amateau andLinda Beatrice Brown

Sunday: 12:45 - 1:35
Science Fiction vs Fantasy: What's the Difference? with James O'Neal.

It looks like the festival will be a lot of fun. I always enjoy these and this will be the first time I'm on the other side of the table, whee!

  1. I've just started a book reviewing blog, and the Pain Merchants is the first book featured on my site. Like I said over there, it's not often debut novels are this good.

I think Kirsten is possibly my favourite of agents. I've been reading her blog for at least a year. I'm not surprised she wanted to represent you.

    Can't wait for book two.

  2. I really enjoyed hearing you speak on panel yesterday and am interested in reading your book "The Shifter". I am going to pick up the first and possibly do a review. I would love to be on the list for ARC of your second (I mostly review books pre-pub on my site) and I also review for the NY Journal of Books on day of pub.

Check out my site and let me know what you think!

    Thanks,
    Courtney

  3. Thanks!

I had a lot of fun at the festival (a full post on that later), and I'm so glad you enjoyed the panel. I'll forward your info on to my publisher for the ARC. :)

  4. Such festivals are always very informative and amusing because they can meet a lot of extraordinary people and books.

  5. I like book festivals so that every person can learn about many new books that need to be bought in the near future.
