Hi Janice! I don't know if you'll remember me but I was in FYN with you. (I was working on a YA novel about a boy named Andrew) I've wondered since then what happened to Nya, since I didn't know the ending of the story yet, and if you had published your book. (You had told me that you planned to pitch it in the fall) When I opened my WD mag. & saw the article about "The Shifter", I started jumping up and down, waving the WD over my head and yelling "Woo-hoo! She did it!" Then I had to explain my sudden antics to my family who had stopped in their tracks with wide eyes and question written on their faces.

Hi there! And thanks :) I've had a few friends who had to do that same explanation, LOL. I did too, actually. Nothing planned for CA yet, but hopefully next year I'll get to do more. Just local signings so far. I guess it all depends on how the book does as to whether more stores want me to stop by for book two.
